Fundraising Events

Next Event: Awareness Walk 09

We are currently working on several fundraising events for 2009. More updates will be posted when we finalize the events we plan to partake in this year. So far this year some of our founding members joined up to raise money for Special Olympics in Indiana by participating in their annual Polar Bear Plunge. I am happy to announce that we at RICHSS was able to sponsor one of the plungers and the other 3 of our members we able to raise enough donations to participate. It was a pristine morning this past Saturday that looked like it was taking place in a winter wonderland due to the fact that we had just suffered the worst winter storm in four years. I will have to say that it was an awesome event. We have pictures but due to the fact that the power has been out in these parts for the past week I haven't received them to post on the site!
